Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT) is a major online imaging modality for image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT)and improvement of CBCT image quality can contribute to detect accurate localization of target and administrate treatment dose. However, image quality of CBCT is superior to Fan beam CT, and this image degradation limits the accuracy of localization of target and make dose calculation on the CBCT images difficult. We attempted to improve the CBCT image quality and reduce exposed dose by acquiring CBCT with iterative reconstruction method.
