Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been developed an automatic detection system for anatomical landmarks in plain torso CT images. However, the system has a problem of low detection rate for soft-tissue landmarks. The aim of this study is to extend our previous method to contrast enhanced CT datasets. In our approach 17 soft-tissue landmarks are detected, together with several bone and lung landmarks simultaneously. The evaluation with 21 datasets showed a fair result of less than 70% of detection rate for 10 of 17 soft-tissue landmarks. Thus, we believe that our method is feasible to various soft-tissue landmarks in contrast enhanced, abdominal CT volumes.
