Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a variational method for frame-rate up-conversion of optical flow fields, for up-conversionof frame-rate of optical flow, we combine motion coherency in an image sequence and smoothness of the temporalflow field. Since optical flow vectors define motion of each point in an image, we can construct interframe imagesfrom low frame-rate image sequence using flow fields vectors. This implies that our method can be used to estimateego-motion from a low frame-rate image sequence obtained by a remote exploration.
