Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The problem is simple. When you make or have someone make a database for you, you can use UML to describe the structure. State machines can be used to describe states and transitions between them. Flow charts can model processing logic through states and conditional forks. There is no model which can describe how to process survey data, which normally comes in the one-sample-per-line form. This paper discusses imperfections of existing solutions like using SQL or flowcharts, and proposes a new comprehensive UML specifically for processing of survey data. |
