Abstract(in English) | This paper explains innovative technologies and applications from the view point of the IEEE 802.11 based wireless LAN history which started in the 1990s. In addition to these, this paper describes the future technology trends which wireless LANs evolve. Nowadays wireless LANs are expected to have not only higher bit rates, but also multi-function properties which lead to M2M wireless networks. Technological problems and their counter measures are presented in this paper when the IEEE 802.11 based wireless LANs are applied to M2M wireless networks. |
