Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we examine the influence of increasing use of wireless systems in traffic environment on their communication performance through simulation evaluations. In the traffic environment, it is becoming a popular situation where people bring their own wireless routers to their cars to provide both local and global communication to multiple devices. In this situation, increasing traffic volume of cars (e.g, traffic-jams) may cause serious degradation of communication services. In this paper, we analyze the relation between traffic volume of cars and the performance of wireless communications through simulations. In the analysis, we focus on ISM band, especially wi-fi and blue-tooth that are now popularly used. In addition, we address the possibility of communication quality improvement using the dynamic resource assignment based on QoE (Quality of Experience) index.
