Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important for robots to detect objects while they makes motions. We deal with problems of detecting objects from backgrounds by using motion blur images. We aim to detect people especially. In order to resolve the problems, we focus on the blur occurs along a direction of the robot's motions. We make background color histograms along the direction The robot detects people based on differences between the present histograms along the direction and the previous histograms. Using the histograms, our robot detects 94.7% of people while it moves. Moreover, we make it stop in front of people after detection and share a clear sensor data through a network. We discuss how to use the shared data for big stores.
