| Abstract(in English) | This paper outlines our one-decade R&D activities on networked robots focusing on human-robot interaction. Several research collaboration on Korea, EU countries, and U.S.A. and a few standardizations have been made. They include not only single-location robotic services but also multiple-location ones, called the ubiquitous networked robots (UNR) services, especially for elderly and disables. A three-layer functional model obtained from UNR field experimentation is proposed as the UNR plarform and may be standardized soon. Future perspective of networked robots is described briefly. |
