| 抄録(和) | 英語前置詞の用法に関わる先行研究は多いが,教育的観点からは,英語母語話者のみならず,英語学習者の前置詞使用傾向についても分析する必要がある.本研究では,執筆条件を高度に統制した国際英語学習者コーパスを使用して,母語話者,日本人学習者,及びアジア圏8か国の学習者による前置詞の使用傾向を比較し,日本人固有の前置詞使用傾向を明らかにすることを目指す.分析の結果,日本人学習者は,前置詞全体の使用頻度については母語話者と大きな差はないものの,個別前置詞の過剰・過少使用については一定の固有傾向を持つことが明らかになった. |
| 抄録(英) | There has been a lot of researches on the usage of prepositions, but little done to compare how learners of English use prepositions. From the educational point of view, it is important to analyze the usage of prepositions, not only by native speakers, but also by learners of English. In the current study, using a new international learner corpus which strictly controls the writing conditions, we conducted a contrastive analysis of prepositions used by Japanese learners, native speakers, and learners in eight Asian countries. Although we looked at preposition use by varied learners in Asian countries, our main goal was to illuminate the way in which Japanese learners use prepositions. As a result, we found that there is no clear difference between Japanese learners and native speakers regarding the frequency of preposition use; however Japanese learners have a specific tendency to overuse some prepositions and underuse others. |
