Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Radar interference problem will arise in the course of widespread of solid-state radars replacing the conventional shipborne radars. A number of solid-state radars can cause critical interference because each of them transmits pulses longer than conventional radars'; thereby a novel interference rejection technique is indispensable. For such problems, we propose the technique to adapt the interference rejection for circumstances, with signal processing based on frequency and spatial information, as well as on chronological information like conventional radars. Our novel technique relies on a knowledge database to determine the structure of the optimum signal processing. Through simulations of severe interference circumstances such that the radar is surrounded by 300 solid-state radars, we have successfully attained the sufficient interference rejection performance of our novel technique.
