Search of Periodic Binary Code Compressed to Several Sub-pulses using Simulated Annealing and Hill Climbing

Abstract(in English) The periodic binary codes, which compress a pulse to a width of several sub-pulses, are searched by using Simulated annealing and Hill climbing methods. In this paper, we investigated the proposed codes in the range of code length from 51 to 65. In exhaust search, the code search becomes difficult as length becomes long. However, the code search was achieved by using these optimization methods. It is found that the peak-sidelobe to peak-mainlobe ratios of proposed codes with code length 53 and 55 are smaller than the conventional codes.
