Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses optimal inspection policies for a multi-unit system with finite Interval. The models check the number of failed units by periodic inspection. When it is detected that the number of failed units exceeds a threshold lvel or a time given working time, the system is maintained. The expected cost rate is obtained and analyzes the optimal policies which minimize the expected cost rate. Numerical examples are givenwhen the failure distribution of each unit is Weibull distribution.
