Abstract(in English) We have investigated that flashover voltage between foil conductors on printed wiring board against ESD surge. Voltage waveform for a 50Ω load is specified in the IEC61000-4-2 international standard, but output voltage waveform between foil conductors measure directly due to the high frequency and high voltage waveform. Thus, we tried to we obtain output voltage waveform between foil conductors on printed wiring board (V_g) against ESD surge with a finite-difference time domain (FDTD) and EMTP analysis. As a result, the change of Vg by the gap length was shown and the change seemed to be attributed to the change of resistance and capacitance of the gap length between electrodes. It was shown that conductivity of the PWB is reduced, R_g the resistance of the PWB is increased, and effect of R_g due to a change in the gap length is small. On the other hand, it was suggested that resonance period is different from the influence of the capacitance C_g of the gap length due to a change in gap length.
