Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Numerical techniques are presented for determination of the phase center of an antenna using the distance dependence of the antenna gain in gain measurements based on the Friis transmission equation. The two proposed methods, the gain fitting method and the gain two-distance method, are based on numerical simulation of the two-antenna method using the method of moments (MoM) with higher-order basis functions. The phase center of a standard gain horn antenna is determined using the proposed methods and the results show the effectiveness of these approximation techniques.
