Damping Constants of bcc-Fe1-xCox(x≦0.5) Single Crystal thin Films

Abstract(in English) X-band FMR spectra of the Fe1-xCox(001) single crystal thin films deposited on MgO(001) single crystal substrates by RF magnetron sputtering system were investigated with changing the external field direction. The damping constant of the specimens had the maximum and minimum values at the <100>bcc and the <110>bcc directions of the bcc crystal structure, respectively. These results show that the does not depend on the magnetic anisotropy.
