Techniques for Embedding Data in Printed Images for Information Retrieval by Mobile Devices

Abstract(in English) The information embedding to printed images for data retrieving has attracted attention. This technique has been based on digital watermarking. In a technical view, the severe influence of printers or image capture devices should be considered. Especially some measure for geometrical deformation and lens distortion should be required. In this paper, we present the overview for this technique, which includes the application, the current status for commercial services, the technological issues and several proposed techniques.
