Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the Doppler frequency estimation for MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output)-OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system is proposed. It is known that the Bessel function represents the relationship between Doppler frequency and the autocorrelation of Rayleigh fading. The Doppler frequency estimation using the path which has the highest SNR in multipath was proposed. In order to improve the estimation accuracy of Doppler frequency, the proposed Doppler frequency estimation exploits all paths of channel impulse response. In addition, the estimation accuracy is more improved by taking advantage of MIMO channel. In the proposed method, the channel impulse response is obtained from estimated frequency domain channel response by inverse fast Fourier transform (IFFT). Then the paths which have the high signal to noise ratio (SNR) are selected and auto-correlation is calculated from the selected paths. Finally, the maximum Doppler frequency is estimated from the estimated auto-correlation.
