Abstract(in English) As implementation of the risk reduction process moves forward based on ISO 12100, there is an increasing variety and volume of data and information relating to risks addressed by designer/manufacturers and users. However, there are various problems relating to information. The author believes the source of this problem is a lack of information science research in the field of safety, and discusses the need for information science in this field.
