Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper analyzed loss rate with multicast packets in order to confirm validity of the proposed multicast transmission scheme for wireless LAN. The packet loss that occurs from packet collisions influences communication quality of the multicast, since retransmission fUnction is not supported for the multicast transmission on the Wireless LAN standard. This paper evaluated th e packet loss by theoretical calculation and experiment in conventional method. The theoretical calculation results were almost coincident with the experimental result. Moreover, the theoretical calculation results were almost coincident with simulation result that has already been evaluated. Therefore, the validity ofthe proposal method was confirmed by these evaluation.
