Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Considering different mobile services have different QoS requirements on emergency, importance, or network connectivity, we envision a mobile network that can achieve service continuity for important services even under the condition of congestions or failures in the network, by preferentially allocating network resources to those services. This paper proposes a basic design of service-aware mobile network virtualization, which can be characterized by the capability of (1) building a "common slice" shared by all the services,(2)dynamically allocating network resources for higher-priority or important services based on in-network service recognition and identification,(3) seamless handover between virtual networks, and(4)providing a single common network interface for a terminal. This paper also introduces emerging technologies related to the above.
