Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Chassis are used for shielding unnecessary electromagnetic wave from electronic devices. The chassis, however, have apertures for the exhaust heat and wiring, and the unnecessary wave leak from the apertures. In this paper, a metal cover of an electronic control unit for vehicle is focused on, and the magnetic field leaked from metal cover in the AM radio band is suppressed with metal rings, which is based on electromagnetic induction. As a result, the suppression effect was confirmed qualitatively with the relationship between the current flowing through the ring and the leaked magnetic field. Moreover, the magnetic field was suppressed by 6.3 dB with three rings arranged on the aperture of the chassis.
