Abstract(in English) This paper reports a security of the 128-bit block cipher CIPHERUNICORN-A against differentialcryptanalysis. An upper bound of the maximum differential characteristic probability of the CIPHERUNICORN-Awas reported at SCIS 2012. However, the authors omitted to evaluate the differential paths of the A3 function and omitted to calculate the probability of multiplications exhaustively, because of the high complexity. On the other hand, another evaluation result was reported at SCIS 2003. The paper calculated an upper bound of the differential probability regarding the limited differential paths having a few active Tr, functions. The paper also calculated the differential probability of the F function by multiplying by the probability of the main stream (MS) part and the probability of the temporary key generation (TKG) part. However, it was not confirmed whether there are the actual differential paths which the MS part and the TKG part are connected. This paper confirms that there are the actual differential paths described above. This paper also reports the result that the upper bound of the maximum differential probability of the 11-round CIPHERUNICORN-A is less than 2^-128.
