Abstract(in English) | We have reported that low dose ion irradiation of 30 keV Kr^+ alters magnetic properties of L1_2-CrPt_3 ordered alloy films and that high-density ion irradiated bit patterned film is fabricated by using the CrPt3. In this report, we summarize these results and discuss Mn based ordered alloys as alternative materials since the Mn based alloys are synthesized at relatively low temperatures compared to L1_2-CrPt_3 (850 ℃). We confirmed that the ion irradiation is effective to control the magnetic properties of the Mn based alloys. This suggests the possibility of the high-density bit patterned films using the Mn based alloys. |
