Abstract(in English)	Internet Society is an organization established on 1992 to lead the Internet internationally on standardization, education, policy making and so on. It's activities are so wide, such as support for standardization body such as Internet Engineering Task force(IETF) and World Wide Web Consortium(W3C), deployment of the Internet in developing countries, activities on the Internet and human rights, deployment ofnew technologies(DNSSEC and IPv6), involvement in the Internet Governance and so on. This paper describes recent ISOC activities and current status of ISOC Japan Chapter.
