Abstract(in English) | In this report, output power of the even harmonic mixer and the balanced diode mixer are reported for clarification of fundamental limitations on output power. For the analysis, the output power of the mixers are formulated and are represented as the power series for formulation of output power at 1dB gain compression point P_1dB. Also general charts of output power are demonstrated, and their effectiveness is confirmed by the experimental investigation. As a result of analysis and experiments, it is clarified that P_1dB of the balanced mixer is higher than that of the even harmonic mixer. |
