Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Tri-plate transmission line filters are usually fabricated by etching the copper-coated dielectric substrate to support the dielectric substrate at horizontal mid-plane. However, the dielectric loss of the dielectric substrates is no longer negligible while operational frequencies increasing. To overcome such difficulty, we proposed a fishbone shaped transmission line filter made by only metal. With this in mind, the structure of the filter was simplified and the filter was designed and fabricated at 30 GHz in this paper.
