A Method of Per-Node Priority Assignment for Live Streaming Flows

Abstract(in English) Per-node priority assignment to each streaming flow can increase number of flows which are able to arrive at destination node within allowable delay of the flow (delay-satisfied flow) in network whose communication resource is limited. In this work,we first introduced end-to-end delay distribution of packets in streaming flow accommodated in network which is constructed by priority control nodes. Then we defined delay allowance to each flow which means difference between allowable delay of the flow and α percentile of end-to-end delay probabilitydistribution of packets in the flow. Second,we proposed per-node priority assignment method for flows to increasethe number of flows whose delay allowance are not negative (satisfied flows in terms of delay). Finally,effectiveness of proposal method is shown by numerical analysis. Analysis shows that proposal method can find near optimal solution.
