Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We constructed a color information processing model that focuses on sexual difference in visual system, and discussed the validity of the model through numerical simulation of Stroop effect. Scientific knowledge and result of a previous psychophysical experiment, Stroop effect occurred in both of male and female subjects, and females' degree of the Stroop effect when a red word displayed was smaller than males. Thus focusing on sexual difference in retinal structure that affects the Stroop effect, we proposed a color information processing model and did numerical simulations. From the results, we confirmed two matters: First, when the color of words differs from their color name, the mean response time is longer than the case where color of words corresponding to their color name. Second, mean response time of female subjects for the color of words written with red is shorter than males'.
