Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Semiconductor neural engineering is a research field in which novel fusion systems that synthesize organisms and machines are created through an understanding of the structure and function of living nervous systems-arrived at by making full use of semiconductor technology. In this paper, I reported current research results on an intelligent Si neural probe system that mutifactorially and 3-dimensionally measures/analyzes the electrical/chemical states of the brain in vivo for use in neurophysiology and medicine.
