Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Dual-polarization Quadruture Phase-Shift Keying (DP-QPSK) modulator can simply generate Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) signal. DP-QPSK modulator was developed for 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and consists two IQ modulator. It is utilized for generation two QPSK signal for each polarization. In this study, we propose that one polarization is worked as RoF-LO signal using single sideband suppressed carrier modulation, and other polarization for QPSK modulation. This technique can generate 25GHz 5Gbps QPSK RoF signal.
