Abstract(in English) | Recently, with the spread of broadband networks and networked control systems (NCSs), data traffic has rapidly increased, and services provided through networks have been diversified. In particular, the service diversification results in the diversification of required quality of service (QoS). The current QoS control based on QoS classification cannot manage the diversified services. For example, smart grid communication, which is a promising service provided in future smart communities, requires ultra-low-latency and local area networking. This report applies the service-oriented routing (SoR) technique the authors have developed to optical access systems, and proposes a low-latency access service for smart grid applications taking the diversified QoS and locality of the service. In addition, the feasibility of the proposed service is confirmed by the results of the experiment using a cluster energy management system (CEMS)-like remote load control system. |
