| 抄録(英) | Members of social networking services (SNS) disclose private information to large groups of people in spite of the threats and available privacy settings. In this paper, we particularly access whether user behavior in restricting private information is influenced by their knowledge about risks of using SNS. Also to determine if benefits of using SNS can be among the factors of whether to reveal private information and its contribution to our model. Correlation analysis was conducted and the results showed no or positive significant correlation between knowledge about risks of using SNS and user behavior. Even members with a high level of such risk knowledge disclosed private information to large groups of people but were willing to spend time to configure privacy settings not related to profile information. The result of regression analysis result showed that benefits of using SNS cause members to disclose private information and have little contribution in our model. |
