Abstract(in English) We use a large number of single-mode multifiber optical connectors in the field of telecommunications and data communications. The relationship between dimension errors and optical performance has been reported. however the relationship between the dimensional accuracy of mass-produced multifiber connectors and the optical performance distribution remains unclear. This paper reports measured variations in the tolerances of 800 mass-produced MT ferrules and the optical performance of over 50,000 fiber connections made using single-mode MT connectors.
