Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Sponge rubber composites prepared from vulcanization natural rabber in sulfur curing system with foaming agent and added eggshells powder as additive. The sponge rubber composite is light weight, good thermal and mechanical properties which can be applied for thermal insulation, energy absorption, and structural uses. The sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO_3) and N,N'-dinitrosopentamethylene tetramine (DNPT, C_5H_<10>N_6O_2) decomposed at vulcanization temperature 150℃ to obtain open and closed cell structures.
