Influence of Mixture Rate of Metallic Vapor on Transport Properties of Arc Plasma for Ag and Ag/SnO_2 contact pairs

抄録(英) The characteristic of an arc discharge phenomenon is influenced by many external conditions, such as gas pressure, gases, and circuit current. After taking these external conditions into consideration, the characteristic of an arc discharge phenomenon can describe from the thermodynamic and transport properties (electric conductivity, viscosity, thermal conductivity, etc.). For the break arcs occurring between Ag and Ag/SnO_2 12wt% electrical contact pairs, the electrical conductivity, the viscosity, and the thermal conductivity were calculated as particle compositions and transport coefficients. The following results are obtained. When the mixture rate of metallic vapor is changed, the particle compositions in the arc column are changed, and the viscosity and the thermal conductivity are also changed. The electrical conductivity is independent of the mixture rate of metallic vapor and the contact materials. The particle compositions and the transport coefficients are independent of the contact materials when the mixture rate of metallic vapor is equal.
