Space charge effect in electronic device with field emitter array

Abstract(in English) Numerical study on the space charge limited current for the electron beam extracted from field emitter array with the energy of V_a. The one dimensional Poisson equation was solved numerically, under the following conditions: initial electron energies of 50 eV and 100 eV, the gap between the electrodes of 5 mm and 10 mm, and the collector voltage between 0 V and 1000 V. The maximum collector current was estimated. With the obtained results, the experimental results obtaeind so far were examined whether the space charge effect affected the performance of the device.
