Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When a node is communicating with another node while moving, periodical communication disruptions occur due to handovers, resulting in bad effects on streaming applications. This paper investigates the effects on three kinds of streaming applications, i.e., YouTube, Skype, and Internet radio, due to periodical handovers. Based on these results, the upper limit of disruption time due to periodic handovers is analyzed.
