Thermal characteristics of fiber Fabry-Perot etalon transmission frequency over wide temperature range

Abstract(in English) Thermal characteristics of a fiber Fabry-Perot etalon with a 1 mm long cavity is investigated over wide temperature range. We find that the thermal sensitivity of transmission frequency at a high temperature is larger than that at a room temperature. Furthermore, the thermal sensitivity under a strong stress is found to be larger than that under a low stress. These phenomena may be resutled from the stress characteristics of the etalon suffered from the connector housing.
