Abstract(in English) In this paper, we introduce a real-time downlink multiuser MIMO (DL MU-MIMO) transceiver we developed for next generation wireless LAN systems and show some indoor experimental results. In the transceiver, channel state information (CSI) is estimated at each station (STA) and fed back to an access point (AP) on a real-time basis. At the AP, zero forcing (ZF) transmit beamforming weight for DL MU-MIMO transmission is successively calculated by using the estimated CSI. Furthermore, we introduce an inter-cell interference (ICI) management technique by coordinated APs in wireless LANs and show indoor experimental results obtained with the implemented transceiver. In the transceiver, ICI management can be easily carried out by using the transmit beamforming for DL MU-MIMO transmission. We verify that DL MU-MIMO and ICI mitigation techniques can improve throughput for next generation wireless LAN systems.
