Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Periodic and regular wakeup is a common technique for reducing power consumption in active tag systems. The transmitted signal from the interrogators is required longer preamble than the wakeup period in order that tags can detect the frame in awaken period. In this paper, we introduce the protocol that the multiple frames with the shortened preamble make tags possible to receive the signals and show this scheme can reduce energy consumption for tags. In addition, we find on the condition that the payload length is shorter than the length of shortened preamble, tags can detect the frame in 2 wakeup cycle time and average transmitting time of interrogators can also be reduced.
