Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On WDM optical networks, the explosive growth of traffic could require the reinforcement of the equipment investment in the sites. The investment based on anticipation of future traffic demand is likely to cause surplus and shortage of bandwidth. In order to cope with the future increase of traffic demand on networks, excessive amount of equipments would tend to be deployed in the sites. The minimization of capital expenditure has been an inevitable issue despite of prediction uncertainty of future traffic demands. Therefore, this paper proposes a method of grading the sites on a scale of the necessity of additional investment without wasteful expenses. The experimental results with a large network model have demonstrated that our method could extract the important sites from the perspective of the betweenness centrality.
