Abstract(in English) | Recently, Electric Vehicle (EV) is considered as an important technology; however, there are some problems for spreading EVs. One of these problems is that charging the battery of an EV needs a longer time than refueling of gasoline vehicles. Deployment of charging stations is also a problem. To overcome these problems, for example, some local governments in Japan started projects in which restaurants and shops rent outlets for charging EV of their customers during eating or shopping. Under such projects, if an EV driver utilizes information on locations of chargers, the driver may be able to reduce the time spent only for charging. In this report, we theoretically analyze the time spent only for charging in a case where drivers utilize the above information. Through the analysis, we discuss how the above information reduces the time spent only for charging. We also consider how chargers should be deployed to commercial facilities considering the difference of popularity of the facilities. |
