Abstract(in English) We proposes plug and play (PnP) techniques for automatically constructing a GMPLS both data and control planes (d-plane and c-plane, respectively). The d-plane PnP techniques consist of search and detection of fiber connection to an optical switch, address assignment to interfaces to which a fiber is connected, and information exchange between adjacent machine. The c-plane PnP techniques consist of understanding of same adjacent nodes as d-plane where data is transmitted, automatic configuration and exchange of component parameters. The techniques reduce manual operation labor needed to commence services and avoid misconfiguration, which leads to simple and reliable management activities. We describe both d-plane and c-plane PnP techniques established, results of a d-plane PnP interoperability demonstration we have firstly succeeded.
