Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To improve the performance of the service router to perform per flow traffic control according to the contents, the system that consists of the service processing unit to analyze the packet to determine the contents and traffic transfer unit that has a large transfer throughput is considered. In previous studies, the authors proposed offload method to reduce the traffic on the service processing unit by detecting the flow that can be processed in the packet transfer unit. However, it is difficult to process all flows in the packet transfer unit due to the upper bound of the memory size for flow identification in the packet transfer unit. In this paper, we propose the flow selection method to maximize system throughput and evaluate the effect of aging-timer used in the proposed method.
