Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We did transmit coded Super Hi-Vision signals from London to Tokyo via several shared networks successfully. We thought we could overcome by means of LDGM-FEC the problem called "Burst Packet Lossess" which might occurduring transmission. We tried delivering SHV video contents by using a few transmission routes with the aim of the distribution of risks. In this paper, we introduce the system which we developed. It has some functions to deliver SHV video contents over shared IP networks safely and surely. We show you the results of our experiments which we made using the Research and Education networks such as INTERNET2, SINET4 and so on.
