On RAS Technical trend of Multi-complex information systems through views from progress of IBM complex systems' RAS

Abstract(in English) It is cognized phenomena that the current ICT progress is contributing significant benefits for social overall functionality, and computing systems and related network systems are becoming major key elements of social framework. Nevertheless, huge tide of various information and data are occurring into the current society framework structures and their elements, and it may cause to be complex and enlarger system for corresponding to their business needs and requirements into the such big-data environments. Several major system down incidents are reported such as Mizuho Band, NTT Docomo, Tokyo stock marketing and so on as negative benefits. Stable and safety systems for keeping their information resources are strongly and urgently requested as social solutions. Here a computer system, IBM Mainframe, zEnterprise 196 is offered from IBM Ltd. in 2010 is discussed and introduced. Its RAS technology is asked as one of the solution which are expected as stable and safety requirement and needs, and also may be as industrial technical standard principle.
