Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a highpass filter consisting of parallel-connected microstrip transmission line and coupled-lines is analyzed based on its equivalent transmission line circuit and lumped-element circuit. Design formulas are then derived for determining the frequencies at which the transmission zeros, reflection zeros, and 3dB cutoff occur. Based on the derived formulas, multiple microstrip highpass filters are designed using a microwave circuit simulator and an electromagnetic simulator, and the filter responses verify well the design formulas.
