Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With the recent development of five-senses displays which produce multi-modal sensation and elucidation of the mechanism involved in our perception, novel interfaces which have a great potential to change our eating experience have been developed. In this paper, we introduce novel techniques which augment our eating experience by using five-senses displays. We report on the trend of these techniques by categorizing these into two types: augmenting our eating experience by focusing on food and augmenting our eating experience by focusing on environment during eating.
