| 抄録(和) | 筆者らの研究グループでは,加速度センサやジャイロセンサなどを装着したユーザの行動を認識するアルゴリズムおよびそれを応用したシステムを多数開発してきた.基盤となるプラットフォームとしてWearable Toolkit[1]および周辺ツール群[2]～[5],ハードウェアプラットフォーム[6]～[8]を作成し,実利用にかなうシステムを構築するために低消費電力化[9]～[11],複合動作の学習なし認識[12],ジェスチャ認識I/O[13]～[16]等の技術を確立してきた[17],[18].また,そのような基盤作りだけでなく,実際に現場でそれらの認識技術を応用してきた.これまでに,バイクレースの支援[19],状況依存型ナビゲーションシステム[20],[21],ジョギング支援[22],ダンス楽器[23],MC支援[24],DJパフォーマンス支援[25],状況依存募金箱[26],動的組み替え可能な楽器[27],ドラムスティック[28],着ぐるみ装着者支援[29]などのシステムを構築し,実際に現場で活用してきた.本講演ではこれらの技術・事例の紹介とともに,認識用データ収集の取り組み[30]などを交えて実世界での装着型センサを用いた動作認識の現状と課題について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | Our research group has established a platform of activity recognition using wearable sensors such as accelerometers and gyro sensors [17],[18]. It includes Wearable Toolkit [1] as an engine of activity recognition with various recognition algorithms [13]～[16], tools and mechanisms [2]～[5] for various purpose such as security management and low power consumption [9]～[11], and hardware management mechanism [6]～[8]. In addition, we also applied such mechanism to actual performances and systems in real-world, such as motorbike race supporting system [19], context-aware navigation systems [20],[21], jogging support [22], wearable dancing musical instruments [23], context-aware donation boxes [26], wearable MC system [24], wearable DJ system [25], unit musical instruments [27], context-aware drum sticks [28], and performer support system in a stuffed suit [29]. In this talk, we show challenges on motion recognition techniques using wearable sensors [30], by introducing these techniques and systems. |
