Abstract(in English) Transmission penalty caused by PDL affects 100Gb/s PDM-QPSK signals as the combined effects of DGD and PDL. We reported investigations of the tolerance of 100Gb/s PDM-QPSK signals against the combined effect of DGD and PDL in field testbed which simulated 100Gb/s ROADM systems and consisted of installed fibers with a large DGD.
